Starting the day early with calmness, mindfulness and gratitude sets the tone for the
rest of the day for me. Morning are extremely peaceful and be very super
productive. For that to happen, you need to be a morning person. Waking up early
has a lot of benefits. Not only does it allow more time for productivity and leisure
but it also makes our day less stressful. In this article i’ll discuss things I do and
certain tips which can help you be more productive and enjoy your mornings like
never before.

Evenings set the tone

  • Productive evenings ensure that your mornings are less stressful
  • Make sure you finish your daily chores on time to feel relaxed in the mornings
  • Have your dinner early and hit the bed on time
  • Sleeping late and waking up early will make you feel tired and your productivity will go for a toss
  • Get at least 7-8 hours of uninterrupted sleep to feel fresh in the mornings
  • Avoid a rushed up routine in evenings and night
  • This would require a bit of planning
  • Stick to your schedule
  • Finish your tasks in the appropriate time to feel relaxed before you go the bed

Link healthy habits to structure a routine

  • Drinking till late in the evening, going to bed late, procrastinating tasks will make it impossible to wake up early
  • Enjoy yourself, it’s important but fix your schedule in a way that you get sufficient rest at night
  • Avoid having heavy dinner

Make changes in evening routine to wind up early

  • Finish your daily chores early. If you have kids, finish their homework or play with a little early to ensure you have sufficient time to wind up
  • If you aim to wake up by 0500 hours, try to hit the bed by latest 2130-2200 hours
