4 Winter Drinks For Fat Loss

In winters, we generally tend to put on weight very quickly. This weight is very difficult to shed as your metabolism is not at it’s peak. Winter is also the time when we indulge in all things good and greasy But thankfully, there are many healthy and warm winter drinks which can be included in your diet to support weight loss.

Detox Tea


  • 4 black peppercorn
  • 2 cloves
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon powder
  • Small piece of ginger
  • 1/2 tsp jaggery powder
  • Small pieces of raw turmeric


  • Crush the ingredients roughly
  • Add 1 cup water in a pan
  • Once it starts to boil, add all ingredients
  • Simmer for 1-2 minutes and switch off the flames
  • Cover and let it infuse for a few more minutes
  • Strain and consume the tea while it’s warm

  • Add 1 tsp instant coffee to the pan

  • Add herbs and spices, cinnamon powder and cardamom powder
  • Blend with a hand blender (or use a electric mixture)
  • Serve this tea warm

Jaggery Spiced Chai


  • Small piece of ginger and turmeric (optional)

  • Jaggery as per taste

  • 2 tsp black tea
  • 1/4 cup milk


  • Crush all the spices and herbs
  • In a pan, add 1 1 /4 cup water
  • Add the crushed mixture to the pan
  • Boil the mixture
  • Add two tsp black tea
  • Add 1/4 cup milk
  • Strain the tea and enjoy it warm

Lemon Zest Tea


  • Zest of two lemons
  • Small of ginger
  • Pinch of cinnamon
  • 1 tsp pure honey (optional)
  • 1 cup plain water


  • Extract the rind or zest from the lemons avoiding the white part
  • In a pan, add water and switch on the flames
  • Add crushed ginger and lemon zest
  • Let the mixture come to a boil
  • Now reduce the heat and simmer for 3-4 minutes
  • Add cinnamon powder and mix well
  • Switch off the heat and cover the pan
  • Strain the tea
  • Add honey or 1/2 tsp jaggery powder (don’t add it while it’s hot)
  • Enjoy it warm post meal
