High Protein Energy Bars Recipes

These high protein energy bars are super snacks for weight loss. Made with wholesome ingredients like oats, sattu, ragi and nuts, these snacks are guilt free and hassle free to prepare. These are easy to make sugar free snacks to lose weight. All ingredients used in these recipes are nutritious and delivers very tasteful snacks.

3 ingredients oats energy bars

Ingredients

  • Rolled oats
  • Dates
  • Peanut butter

Instructions

  • In a pan, dry roast rolled oats on low heat
  • Once they are evenly brown from all sides, switch off the heat
  • Let them cool to room temperature
  • Use a mixer blender or a food processor
  • Transfer oats dates powder in a large bowl
  • Add dry roasted oats and dates to the blender
  • Gradually add peanut butter into the mixture
  • If you want, you can make ladoos out of the mixture
  • Else, transfer the mixture on a tray lined with butter paper or greased tray
  • Keep it in the fridge for minimum 1 to 3 hours
  • Once set, cut it into your preferred shape

Ragi energy bars

Ingredients

  • 1 cup ragi flour
  • 3/4 cup dates
  • 1/2 cup grated dry coconut
  • Mixed seeds
  • Pure desi ghee / virgin coconut oil

Instructions

  • Dry roast ragi flour in a pan
  • Dry roast mixed seeds in another pan
  • Put all the ingredients into a blender
  • Blend them well
  • Transfer the mixture to a plate or bowl
  • Add desi ghee / coconut oil to a hot pan
  • Deliver the mixture to the pan and stir nicely with a spatula
  • Transfer the mixture to a tray with the back of a steel katori and even the surface
  • Let the mixture cool in the refrigerator for 45 minutes or more
  • Once the mixture is set, cut it into small pieces / bars

Sattu energy bars

Ingredients

  • Dry coconut powder
  • Dates
  • Almonds
  • Sattu
  • Desi ghee

Instructions

  • In a mixer, add dry coconut powder, dates, almonds
  • Blend and mix well
  • Add sattu to the mixture and give it a nice mix
  • Transfer the mixture to a plate and mix well with a spoon
  • Now add desi ghee / coconut oil to a hot pan
  • Add the mixture to the pan and stir nicely with a spatula
  • Transfer the mixture to a tray and press the mixture with the back of a steel katori to even out the surface
  • Let the mixture cool, refrigerate for atleast 45 minutes
  • When the mixture is all set, cut it into small bars

High protein energy bars

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup dates (remove seeds)
  • 1/2 cup jaggery
  • 1/2 cup warm water
  • 1 cup almonds
  • 1/2 cup peanuts
  • 1/2 cup melon seeds
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1/2 cup phool makhana
  • 1/2 cup oats
  • 1/2 cup puffed amaranth
  • 1/2 cup dessicated coconut

Instructions

  • Soak dates and jaggery for an hour
  • Dry roast all nuts and seeds on low heat
  • Once cooled, roughly grind all roasted ingredients
  • Grind the mixture
  • Cook on low heat, until the mixture turns slightly thick
  • Add all the dry ingredients
  • Transfer the mixture in a tray
  • Press with a flat katori
  • Once cooled, cover with foil
  • Remove the mixture from the tray and cut into pieces with a sharp knife

Choco energy bars

Ingredients

  • Peanuts
  • Almonds
  • Sesame seeds
  • Dry coconut
  • Jaggery
  • Dark chocolate

Instructions

  • Dry roast peanuts on low heat
  • Dry roast almonds on low heat
  • When almonds are almost done, add sesame seeds and roast on low heat
  • Now add coconut and roast on low heat
  • Crush jaggery into small pieces
  • Remove roasted peanuts skin
  • Now grind the roasted seeds and nuts mixture
  • Now melt the jaggery in the same pan with very little water on low heat
  • When jaggery is 85 % melted, add dark chocolate
  • Mix both very well and keep stirring
  • Once melted, gradually add the grinded mixture into the pan
  • Once done, transfer the mixture into the prepared tray
  • Press it properly with a katori / spatula
  • Cut it into the required shape
