My Skin Care Routine

To have a healthy skin is simply a matter of following an effective yet easy routine with minimal ingredients and products. Every person’s skin care routine is personal. It means you can’t have a set skin care routine for everyone. My weekly skin care routine consists of a few simple steps. Cleaning that is washing my skin with a gentle face wash, toning or supplying antioxidants to our skin for creating the right balance and moisturising for hydrating and softening the skin. My weekly skin care routine consists of two extra steps that is scrubbing with home roasted coffee scrub and applying matcha tea face mask.

How to care for oily to dry sensitive skin

  • Eating healthy is a pre requisite for healthy and glowing skin
  • There are 4-5 very simple steps that comprise of my skin care routine
  • Washing my face with green tea pore cleansing face wash
  • This particular type of face wash are mild yet very effective
  • These are loaded with green tea extract, glycolic acid
  • These also contain natural cellulose beads which make the skin feel fresh and hydrated

  • Controls oil production
  • Prevents and repairs sun damage
  • Helps combat acne
  • Helps reduce puffiness of the skin
  • It is an excellent antioxidant that helps the skin breath
  • Green tea increases skin’s elasticity and collagen to keep it firm
  • Reduces redness or irritation on the skin

The next step

  • Next step of my skin care routine is toning
  • I carry out toning with green tea alcohol free toner
  • Alcohol free toner is a gentle yet very effective product
  • It helps to shrink enlarged pores and helps to firm up your skin

Third step

  • I moisturise with green tea renewed clarity night gel
  • This gel provides a balanced nourishment and hydration for my skin
  • This gel is light, non sticky and it’s pillow proof formula helps hydrate the skin in the right way

Fourth step

  • The next step is applying home roasted coffee scrub on my skin
  • This coffee scrub is simple to make, the recipe for this is shared on my recipe channel
  • I follow it up with a green tea face mask
  • I take steam once in 10-15 days to open up my pores and for deep cleaning
  • I prefer to use green tea products as they are suitable for normal to oily and acne prone skin
