6 Detox Water Recipes For Weight Loss

Detox water are a great way to rejuvenate your system. Detox waters if properly prepared are loaded with detoxifying and cleansing ingredients. It helps the body in it’s natural detoxification, hydrates your body and jump starts your weight loss process.

Amla and Chia Seeds Detox Water

Ingredients

  • 2 small amla
  • 1 tsp chia seeds
  • Pinch of pink salt
  • 1.5 ltr water

Instrutions

  • Chop the amla into small pieces and remove the seeds
  • Mix chia seeds in some water and mix them well to avoid lumps
  • Add the amla chunks into the glass bottle
  • Add the mixed chia seeds as well
  • Add the water and pink salt and mix well
  • Keep it for minimum 3 hours to let it infuse
  • Consume this detox water through out the day

Aliv (Halim) Seeds and Lemon Detox Water

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp halim seeds
  • 1 tsp lemon juice / apple cider vinegar
  • 1.5 ltrs water

Instructions

  • Mix the halim seeds in some water and mix them well to avoid lumps
  • Add the mixed halim seeds and lemon into the glass bottle and mix well
  • Keep it for minimum three hours to infuse
  • Consume it throughout the day

Moringa Ginger and Lemon Detox Water

Ingredients

  • 3-4 sprigs of moringa leaves
  • 1/2 tsp moringa powder
  • 1 sliced lemon
  • Some chopped pieces of ginger
  • 1.5 ltrs water

Instructions

  • Add morings leaves into the water
  • Add the sliced lemon and ginger as well
  • Add water on top and mix everything well

  • 3-4 sprigs of curry leaves
  • 1 tsp methi dana (fenugreek seeds)
  • 1.5 ltrs water

Instructions

  • Add curry leaves into the water
  • Add the methi dana into the water
  • Add rest of the water on top and stir everything properly
  • Keep everything for minimum 3 hours to infuse
  • Consume the detox water throughout the day

Carrot and Carom Seeds Detox Water

Ingredients

  • 1 sliced carrot
  • 1 tsp carom seeds (ajwain)
  • Pinch of cinnamon
  • 1.5 ltrs water

Instructions

  • Add the sliced carrot into water
  • Add the ajwain and cinnamon in the water
  • Keep for minimum three hours to infuse and consume it thorugh out the day

Apple Fennel and Cinnamon Detox Water

Ingredients

  • 1 sliced apple
  • 1 tsp fennel seeds
  • Pinch of cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp lemon juice
  • 1.5 ltrs water

Instructions

  • Add the sliced apple into the water
  • Add the fennel seeds in the water
  • Add water on top and stir everything properly
  • Consume the detox water through the day

Some Pointers

  • Use normal temperature water from a clay pot for best results
  • Make these detox water in the morning or the night before
  • These detox water take minimum 3 hours to infuse
  • You can eat the ingredients used
  • In cold weather you can keep the water outside the refrigerator for the night
  • If the water tastes bad, that is if the fruits / veggies have fermented, don’t consume the water
  • You can refill the jar, but it’ll mostly taste bland
