My Complete Skin Care Routine

Hello everyone, hope all of you are doing well and are keeping healthy and happy. Healthy skin is simply a matter of following a simple yet effective routine with minimal ingredients and using as much natural products as possible. The formula does not work for all skin types. Depending on what kind of skin you have, your skin care routine will vary. In this article i’ve shared my skin care routine which keeps my skin healthy and free of any blemishes.

Daily Routine

  • My daily skin care routine includes washing, toning and moisturising
  • I wash my face with cetaphyl
  • It is medically proven face wash with minimalm chemicals
  • Cetaphyl is generally available at any medical stores
  • I then use a home made toner which is made of lemon, glycerine and rose water in equal quantity
  • This toner is again simple to use and can be stored for use
  • As moisturiser i use alovera gel in summers and a normal moisturiser cream in winters
  • Twice in a week, I use charcoal or orange peel scrub for light scrubbing

2 Extra steps : Oatmeal Face Pack and Matcha Face Pack

Oatmeal Face Pack : I use the following ingredients to make this face pack

  • 1 tsp quick oats
  • 1/2 tsp besan
  • 1/4 tsp orange
  • Peel powder
  • Multani mitti (optional)
  • 5-6 tsp rose water

Matcha Face Pack

  • 2 tsp matcha powder
  • 4 tsp rose water

Other very important tips

  • Eat loads of fruits and vegetables
  • Stay hydrated
  • Avoid junk, processed or refined food
  • Add collagen to your diet : Collagen automatically drops by 1 % every year in the body, so it is imperative to add collagen in your diet

Some healthy habits you must follow

  • Avoid touching your face again and again
  • Wash your towels on a regular basis
  • Keep a separate face towel
  • Change your linen on a regular basis
  • Wash your bedsheets and pillow covers regularly
  • Keep your hands clean, make sure you wash your hands regularly
  • Use mild soap free face cleaner
  • Keep your hair clean
  • Try to keep your comb clean, wash it at least once in a week
  • Keep your makeup tools clean and brushed
  • If you have acne on your skin, avaoid using harsh products
  • Instead, use natural cleansers on your skin
